This Also Will Pass

Isn't life beautiful?

The other night we had an idea to document what its like to live in the Commons. We chose the format of a weekly webisode that recounts different elements of our lives together. Before really talking about how we'll make it work, we thought about past things that we could incorporate.

What a brilliant excuse to sit around and simply remember together. I highly recommend it if you are feeling down.

It does the soul good to remember.

Remember both the good and the bad.
The Bitter and the Sweet.

Life isn't beautiful?

Remember the pumpkins
Squished car rides to the movies
Late night visits to the beach
Lateral thinking puzzles
Readjusting to change
Visits from distant loves

Beautiful isn't life?

On My Mind

994 miles that separate me from bliss.
6 days until we shoot my film.
Survey of Comm and pop culture is the largest waste of time I've experienced of late.
September 11.
Trying to regain respect for people, even if their judgment is occasionally lapse.
Trying to remain grounded in the Word so that situations may be handled correctly.
Love.
Heaven is going to be awesome because I will be able to hang out with all of my friends at one time. I hope.
Comforting the lonely.
Loving everyone.
Glen Hansard's beautiful music.

I am thankful for each and every one of you.

Some things in life may change, and some things stay the same

How quickly do we forget Your promises.

I'm told that in an instant on the night prior, everything changed.

I saw
Despair
Fear
Sorrow
Anger
Humor employed as a coping mechanism
Hope
and Joy.

How quickly do we forget Your promises.

Some act as if the world has ended, others look upon it as a new beginning.

Then why does everything still feel the same?

People are still hungry
People are still dying
People are still lost
People are still in desperate need of Christ

How quickly do we forget Your promises.
